6100 guide glitches

i'm new to this site and after reading and looking for an answer i couldn't find 1 so here it goes, hopefully this is the right spot. Just bought a lg 60pc1d and a 6100 receiver, everythings fine except when i go into the guide or info screen every few seconds there's a white line that randomly flashes horizontally across the screen(like a glitch). I plugged in my old 3100 to see if it does the same thing and it doesn't. Tv is hooked up with HDMI to DVI cable thought the cable was bad and i checked this with component cable and same result Don't think it's the tv, but the receiver .
Reset the receiver?Settings?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Where is the line?

it randomly flashes anywhere from the bottom to the top but most prodominantly 1/3 from the bottom and 1/3 from the top, it is not in 1 spot.

It must be in the receiver. Some HDTVs will have a line at the top if the overscan is set wrong, is why I asked.

thanks for your response and since i posted the sound seems to cut out every once in a while for half a second, receiver is only 3 weeks and still under warranty. thanks again
