A Petition To Warner Brothers

Anyone out there want to draft an online petition? I'd be willing to help write and edit...
What business advantage did this give Warner Brothers? What did they gain? Because if they did not gain anything of real value, they would NOT have done it.
I'm mad. It's not the "investment" money... I haven't dropped a bundle on HD DVDs yet. My player (A2) was inexpensive (that's why I bought it). I just don't understand an illogical bail-out like this...

The last update to the site is 9/21/07. I guess they won't be updating it much anymore since they do not even mention the Warner decision.

I have decided to show my support by continuing to buy HD-DVDs and not buy any product from the Studios backing Blueray. For the past several months I have purchased the SD versions not available on HD-DVD but at least for the next few months I will not support the Blueray backers at all even for the non HD-DVD titles. Mass letter writing I think generaly works however the studios would pay more attention to lost sales. If everyone that owns and supports HD-DVD would just say no for a couple of months I think they would take notice. We have a voice but we need make a sound that we know they will hear.

So far, I have no reason to change my course either!

Enjoy the Movies in HD!

I agree! I refuse to support the boo ray format and will continue to buy HD DVDs only.

Thanks for the link. I signed and checked the boxes for my support. Yes, I will continue to buy HD DVDs, I DO believe it is the better format, and with the amount of players out there this whole abandonment on the part of Warner Brothers is baffling.
HD DVD supporters dig in. I have a feeling we are going to see this fight go one way or another a lot sooner than some believe.
Why can't Bill Gates with his evil monopolistic superpowers just wave a wand and made some deathblow moves to help turn the tide of this bloody war?

Still supporting here. Went to Bestbuy Sunday and bought another HD movie.

Best Buy has a good sale on HD DVD videos this week. The best way to show support is to buy the players and videos. :)

I think they still have the buy 3 get 2 free deal going on.

I think they still have the buy 3 get 2 free deal going on.

That is tempting as there are still quite a few current HD DVD titles that I want. However, I still think Amazon is the good deal.

I'm going to hang on a bit and see if a BOGO appears. People keep saying HD DVD is dead...well...then let's see a firesale.

Man, Casino looks fantastic on HD; also picked up a couple more of the Harry Potter films (boooooo, Warner).
I also fired off a letter at the behest of the aforementioned online HD DVD petitioners. With a million plus people with a (dedicated!) HD DVD player, it seems the people have spoken.
Will HD DVD be Al Gore of the 2000 election? ;)

to see the logic in that position. I do admire you for standing against the incoming tide though we both know you will not last long. Sticking to your guns is to be admired even though the end result is not in doubt.
