Buy 2 HD DVD's, get 1 free
Question is...what would you buy?
I already have Transformers and Shrek
Thoughts, recommendations???
I participated in their B0G0F yesterday and got Evan Almighty and Shrek the Third for about 30 dollars.

The promotion they had before was better with buy one get one free, that atleast was more even. Now if it was buy one get 2 free, or buy 2, get 2 free that would of been better. Buying 2 to get one doesn't seem all that hot.

I went yesterday to pick up the kingdom, smokin aces and batman begins and it wouldn't ring up correctly. The manager told me it was only for the titles in the ad. So all I got was the Kingdom and left. I hate retailers...I had a $5 off for the Kingdom, so it wasn't a big deal. But they are turning away business since they can't read their ads. DUMB.:banghead:

I had gotten a couple $50 BB giftcards for Christmas so I went and picked up 6 titles for $100 today. They were marked at $24.99 each. My BB was doing ALL titles in store for the Buy 2 get 1 Free that were under $40, excluding boxed sets. It isn't the best deal ever, but hey, it's better than nothing. I was sort of pissed that they were out of stock on the regular version of Blade Runner and only had the $99 boxed set, but I ended up getting a bunch of old favorite catalog releases that I didn't own previously on DVD:
1. Apollo 13
2. Top Gun
3. Full Metal Jacket (newer version)
4. The Shining
5. Tremors
6. Army of Darkness
Add that to the 4 other HD DVD titles I received as gifts (Blades of Glory, Anchorman, Old School, and Stardust) and I had a pretty Merry HD DVD Christmas!!!

I have 2 BB in my area and one was limiting the titles to a certain list and the other wasn't so I guess it varies store to store.

I must be lucky to actually have a BB store that seems to want to help consumers. For the rest of you, I strongly recommend bringing a flier into the store with you, or asking for one as soon as you get through the door, they are there for you. The flier clearly states the perameters of the BOGO they are doing. Other than TV shows and Boxed sets, ANY HD DVD title under $34.99 is open to the offer.
I doubt if you have 2 stores in the same town, that one of the stores has a flier that lists the BOGO details differently than the other. With a flier in hand you will win 100% of the time.
