high def. switcher

I just bought a high def. phillips 61150 switcher from walmart. I have installed everything through this switcher, but periodically the video is lost due to a loss in signal. Could the switcher be bad or something else. thanks for any responses..

By lost, do you mean it goes completely black, or does it pixellate, breakup and freeze?

If it goes completely black, it could be the switch.

If it pixellates etc., it is probably dish misalignment and low signal.
