OTA HD Tuner / DVR ???

Does anybody make an OTA HD Tuner / DVR? My HDTV does not have a built in HD Tuner. If I could, I would just snag my locals with an external OTA HD Tuner.....and it would be real nice if they had one that has a DVR built into it. Does this exist? I like the idea of recording local HD programing on something like this, while watching Directv stuff and recording on that DVR at the same time.

Thanks in advance.

I think Direct has one, you should post this in the Direct section if you are staying with them. Dish does have several models but they require Dish subscription in order to work.

I have the dish network vip722 which has an ota tuner. I'm not sure about the other models dish has, but there might be some with an ota tuner as well. It works well for me since nbc is not offered in hd through dish in san antonio so I have to record nbc hd off air. I can record two dish programs and an off air program (3 total) at the same time and I can still watch an item from my recorded list. The box also scans for local channels and integrates them into the guide. I am extremely pleased with the capabilities of this box over the aging time-warner sa8300hd box I used to have.

I think I misread the post a little. I know companies like Samsung make stand alone hd tuners, but I don’t think that they have a model with a dvr. Tivo makes some, I’ve never used tivo before but I think it can work with a cable subscription with a cable card, I’m not sure about a satellite subscription. If you have a computer/laptop you can buy products (usb tuners) to record sd/hd off air signals to your hard drive, but then the problem becomes getting the programs from the computer to the tv through a media extender or other means.
