Has anyone here tried the Vudu service or know someone that has? I am just wondering as I have thier box on the way. Reviews that I have read so far seem to be pretty good. It will be interesting to see how the service grows or fades as Voom did

Vudu box arrived on Friday evening, haven't had too much time yet to view. The 4 movies that I was able to see over the weekend were realy good PQ

Have used the Vudu box alot more now, and if they keep adding content the way that are at the moment this could turn into a really great service. Monday they added TV shows such as 24, Arrested Development, Family Guy, Buffy, Firefly, Shark and more. More HD is popping up also, the upscaling that the box does is really good
This looks like what the Apple TV could/should have been. If only Apple would get high-def and surround sound content, it could definitely be a showdown between these two products.

Very true, maybe Vudu will motivate them
Hoping to get the Vudu box for Christmas!

I bought a Vudo a couple of months ago, and have yet to be able to get it to access the internet, even after purchasing the recommended wi fi adaptor.
I have now spent about $450.00 for a door stop.
If you don't have a wired connection, I'd say wait until they have built in wi fi.
I'm ready to throw the thing in the dumpster

Why not use cat5, wifi is bound to burp during a two hour movie. I thought about using wifi but opted for hardwire and it works great. If your is bound for the dumpster I'll buy it from you

I have the VuDu on a Netgear WiFi Bridge and it works FLAWLESSLY. Never a Hiccup. VuDu BTW is fanntatstic. Once they get their content issues squared away (Still very weak) they will definitely have something VERY SOLID.
The "Ethernet over AC" devices, like a slinglink, also work great with the Vudu.
