Dish CSR's? How many times.........

Dish CSR's must be imbeciles. Correct me if I am wrong.

I started with dish in 1997 with 2 receivers, a 3700 and a 4700.
Both leased and I paid the lease fee every month for both.

3 years ago I replaced the 4700 with a DVR625 that I bought not leased. Had to call dish to activate it and also had them deactivate the 4700. They insured me that it would be done and the lease fee discontinued. Every month the lease fee's were still there on my bill,$5.00 and a $6.00

I can't even remember the number of times I called them about this.

Almost 2 years ago I bought a VIP622, not leased. Called dish to activate it and had them deactivate the 3700, plus discontinue the lease fee for it.
They insured me that it would be done.
Both "Leased Receiver Fees" one $5.00 and one $6.00 still appear on my bill.

Again, I can't even remember the number of times I called them about this. Each time was told the lease fees would be dropped.

Am I missing something here. It says "Leased Receiver Fee".?

Today I logged into my account and went to the equipment area and it still shows I have 4 receivers. The 3700, the 4700, the DVR625, and the VIP622.

WTF??

No, I did not send them back. Nice trick of dish's if that is it.
Not once in all my conversations with the CSR's did they ever mention
sending the de-activated receivers back. They are
basically useless. I removed the smart cards and threw the receivers
away. :banghead:
