Something interesting I have kv-30hs420 crt tv and bought it on craiglist in local city here. So to make a long story short i reseted the mid nvm data in the service menu and as you guys know its basically unusable now. So i called SONY and lady said its under warranty still it can be repaired free.
So she gave me a sears 800 number so I called and made a appointment for the dec 18. She said have a bill of sale ready incase the tech wants to see it. Now does this sound to good to be true or what. The guy that comes can really fix the tv in the service menu or is he just like a 1st level tech and probrably will have it taken to a repair shop? How does this work?
