Extender for Sat cable

when the people before us had the dish sat. installed the cables for the bedroom are VERY short and makes it so that we cannot move the tv into the position my wife and I want it. Is there anyway that we would be able to get an extender at wal-mart or best buy that would make it so we can make the cable longer?

Do you need to extend the cable from the satellite or is this OTA now?

All you really need is a barrel connector and a piece of RG-6 cable in whatever length you need.

If it is for satellite use a high frequency barrel connector.

I believe the insulator in them is blue instead of white.
