I seen on their web site where you can buy their off air atenna to pick up local hd channels. It's like $50.00. And they said they would install it for you too.
Just wondering if this option has worked for anyone else?

Save yourself the trouble.
Go anywhere and buy/try an amplified indoor antenna and give it a try.
If it doesn't work, take it back.
Then consider a roof mount antenna POINTED at your local towers.

Go to www.antennaweb.org and put in your information and it will tell you what stations you can get and what kind of antenna you need.

I think you might do well with a db4 from antennadirect.com

When I set up my dad's system 30miles south of Rochester NY, we picked up 14 digital stations. Instead of one PBS feed from analog, we had 4 in digital.
Now here in NE Mississippi. The local tv stations all transmit from an tower set that is 45 miles away. I still get digital signals but only 5 at the moment.
I use a 30year old UHF antenna in my attic pointed at the towers.
