Monster Channelmantiz 11-26-2007, 12:49 PM Anyone know why all they showed this past saturday all day and night was just 3 movies repeated?? Never had this happen before? garys 11-26-2007, 04:57 PM That's all they used to show, same movie every third movie for almost the entire week. Hope they don't go back to that. bradp56 11-26-2007, 06:01 PM They have been having programming issues per the website they should be good to go now, supposedly they are getting new movies in December. mantiz 11-26-2007, 07:08 PM Man I hope so there are enough repeats on the kung fu channel!! I love the Monster Channel one of the reasons i chose dish over others. mantiz 11-26-2007, 07:58 PM I checked the website also and they are talking about the program schedule not matching what is being broadcast a totally different problem which was an issue a few days back but now seems to be resolved, but I just checked the progran guide from this evening 7:30 pm eastern until tomorrow same time a full 24 hours and they are only showing 2 movies repeatedly Humanoids of the deep and Day of the Dead!! This really sucks!! What happened to the marathons!! bradp56 11-27-2007, 06:50 PM They will fix it I am not worried this channel is why I stuck with Dish BiggNewt 11-28-2007, 07:35 PM Best channel in the history of Television. My DVR is filled with nothing but movies from it. bradp56 11-28-2007, 07:37 PM O I am the same way I got all the Friday the 13ths saved, It is truly the best channel ever I think it will get better with time a popularity. edders 12-03-2007, 03:42 PM We liked Monsters HD at first, now it is just the same few movies, OVER and OVER AGAIN!!! Ed Viventis 12-04-2007, 10:58 AM The other night I watched Godzilla vs Mechzilla or some such. It was in Japanese with no subtitles. Perfect! I did know most of the words to the midget twins' song to call Mothra. Monster channel rules!!!! mantiz 12-05-2007, 02:45 PM I agree they do show alot of repeats but they also show alot of movies you wouldn't find playing on other providers and I really love when they do the marathons. I think kung fu channel is the worst for repeats and I love Martial arts movies but its the same ones over and over!! bradp56 12-05-2007, 05:28 PM Yea I agree it will be like this for a while because it has to do with money for the channels I mean now that cablevision has these channels to it may get better. Yes616 12-05-2007, 08:21 PM Universal HD is now doing the same thing.. 90 minute increments most of the night tonight. Big Ideas for a Small Planet & Iconoclasts over and over. bradp56 12-05-2007, 08:23 PM Something may be up with the voom channels mantiz 12-05-2007, 09:29 PM I know when I first got dish almost 18 months now they had repeats but not the same 2 over and over all night like they have been doing lately. Something must be up. edders 12-06-2007, 10:16 AM I agree they do show alot of repeats but they also show alot of movies you wouldn't find playing on other providers and I really love when they do the marathons. I think kung fu channel is the worst for repeats and I love Martial arts movies but its the same ones over and over!! I agree that they both have a lot of repeats and both show films you could not find elsewhere. When Monsters HD gets boring, I see what is on Kung Fu. Either way it does beat the heck out of watching some sitcom with 15-20 minutes of commercials per hour. Ed mantiz 01-05-2008, 01:57 PM I see it's back to the S.O.S.! 2 movies all day and night. This sucks! edders 01-05-2008, 05:26 PM Some time ago there was a diversity of HD providers and channels, VOOM stood out against the pack. At first Dish let them continue, now I suspect they have more profitable plans for that bandwidth. Too bad, creativity is always difficult where profit is the motive. mantiz 01-05-2008, 07:43 PM I have been seeing some ads on TV for Chiller? Anyone know if it is any good? Who carries it? bradp56 01-05-2008, 10:56 PM Hopefully things will get figured out soon, because I love the voom channels. mantiz 01-06-2008, 11:14 AM Hopefully things will get figured out soon, because I love the voom channels. I love the voom channels also but the repeats are getting rediculous. I've had dish for 18 months now and this is the worst i've seen it. bradp56 01-06-2008, 11:37 AM Yea its weird it always had a repeat format but never this bad to where its only 2 movies a day. mantiz 01-06-2008, 12:11 PM Ever hear of Chiller network? Yes616 01-06-2008, 12:33 PM Ever hear of Chiller network? Yep and it would be a perfect compliment to MonstersHD. One more thing, I hope we get the HD version of Chiiler. mantiz 01-06-2008, 12:38 PM Is Chiller a future channel that Dish is going to offer? bradp56 01-06-2008, 05:11 PM I thought chiller is for directv only? Having two horror channels would be the best. Yes616 01-06-2008, 05:19 PM I thought chiller is for directv only? Having two horror channels would be the best. Chiller is new. Give it some time. All providers are looking at the deal being offered. It is in HD as well as SD. Dish can't do much of anything now until the new satellites are up. AMC-14 is scheduled for March 2008. Let's all hope there are no set backs. Dish has 2 birds now ready to fly but there were launch delays. bradp56 01-06-2008, 05:42 PM any idea of what to expect channel wise? WLKNDED 01-13-2008, 08:10 AM Any one ever heard why the two or three movies on Monsters HD.. Are runing almost 25 minutes late.:helpme :helpme Makes it kinda hard to record a fav and save it to the extra hard drive .:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: bradp56 01-13-2008, 09:26 AM I wonder if things are at a standstill untill the new satellites go up? Because there might be some moving of channels and things like that. | |
