Suggestion for improvement

Everytime a thread is opened it takes you to the last "page" of posts. I find this very annoying. Let's start at the START of threads and let people work their way through. I'm always clicking to the start of the threads when looking at something new. It would seem most others would want to as well. Starting at the last page of a thread is just about useless...

I think you need to change your thread options to 'linear-oldest first' in your user CP.

Thanks. I tend to just use the basic forum features and move on so I did not think of something like that. If it is the case, then the default setting should be changed in my humble opinion.

If you use the title on the right hand of the main forum page it will give you the last unread post in the thread. This is generally preferred by most forum users as they check for new entries to threads.

Now if you choose to go into a given forum, when you click on the titles you will be taken to the first post assuming you haven't changed the method as described previously.

Also if you look to the right there is the symbol http://www.highdefforum.com/images/buttons/lastpost.gif and if you click on it the last post in the thread will be shown.

This forum would be better if there was more discussion about sports that I cared about: rugby union, football (soccer), and cricket.

I fail.

Who is the chick with the red rose in hair? Does she go to the rugby games with you?
