Delivery format Question for Editors

Greetings from a HD Forum newbie. After a couple of years of selling HD on Stock footage sites I am building a website to sell my own collection. The footage is captured in native 1920 x 1080i. My question is this: What format do you prefer your files to be delivered in? Why? And what platform are you running (Mac or PC). Any information you could give to explain your answers would be welcome. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum Giant. Since PC's are the dominant computer platform me would suggest WMV as the format of choice. Question is, how long are the takes you wish to deliver?

You know I have been selling my stuff on Istockphot, Revostock, and AlwaysHD and none of them accept .wmv. One of the reasons being that it is not cross platform compatable. A lot of the creative community is still Mac. The closest thing to original quality is .mpg, and it has a decent file size. My clips run anywhere from 20 seconds to two minutes with a majority at 30 seconds. These file are for editors who need footage.
