LG model 42LB5D sound delay, changing channels

hello,,i bought the lg 42 inch lcd,,when changing channels there is a 4 or 5 second delay untill you hear the sound,?? is this normal for lg's

I have seen the delay on all TVs. There's a lot of info coming down the pipe so pause a bit and smell the roses while sound comes through. Compare to to other LCDs and you should see the same thing.
