I'd appreciate if anybody can give me there opinion. I'm kind of desperate. LOL.

I want to get a new set by the end of September and these are my conditions:

1. Very bright living room! (Hate reflection)
2. Watch TONS of Sports!
3. WILL play PS3 Games
4. WILL watch Blue Ray Movies

Basically the best LCD without Glare for fast action Sports/Games.

Here are the sets I have it narrowed down to:

Sharp Aquos - LC52D92U
Sharp - LC52D64U
Samsung - LNT4661
Phillips - 52PFL7432D
Samsung 5084 Plasma - If it has good anti-glare screen???

Or OTHER suggestions.

Budget is about $3000.

I'd consider the new Samsung 71 series, but i'm afraid of the glossy screen.

I'm really puzzled on this. I currently have a Panny plasma and can't stand the reflection. Need help asap! Thanks guys/gals!!!!

you should also add SONY 46 inch 1080P, i would suggest SAMSUNG (based on my experience) if you could wait SAMSUNG new series with 120 HZ refresh rate and with LED back lighting will be a killer set, prices will come down at AMAZON.com very quickly, or SONY (not on your list).

Link for SAMSUNG set.

Didn't list the new Samsungs because of the glossy screen. and the XBR4, i forgot about that one. But it might be out of my budget. Thanks.

46xbr2 should be about $2500-3K. 46xbr4 will be about 4.

Man, I only seen the Sharp LC-52D92U and all I can say is that is 1 sweet 52'' 1080p LCD. I would assume it would fit all your needs and then some. It is a bit over your budget, but worth it IMO. Abes has it onsale for about $3100 shipped. I never ordered from them before but my friend ordered a loaded laptop from them recently. Got a killer price and shipped to him with no problems (so far)..

How about committing some of that budget to blinds, draps, curtains, or even those hi-tech windows that can be darkened electronically? After all, that really is the biggest problem no matter what TV you put in that room.
