Is the "High Def Forum" logo supposed to be a joke?

It seems to be the height of irony to have, on a high definition forum, a logo seemingly in 8-bit color WordArt...lol

Lol, I never noticed till you said something. This site is certainly worthy of a updated logo, but reliability is far more important. I have mentioned one issue, but got no reply to a thread in this area, and a pm to the administrators. There are several other little issues, like automatic quoting puts a strange number after the name of the person you are quoting, and it wont look like a quote if you dont remove the number before you post. I dont bother to mention little things like that anymore since I never got a reply to the issue I did bother to report (twice).

There has been some discussion about using a better logo, and I would expect it will happen at some point.

They are re-doing the "terms" of the contest, thats all I know. All I know is that this forum needs a bit of an overhaul to correlate with what its name proclaims= "High Definition"

I think the idea is to have a JavaScript change the images on each load or the images to be chosen having something do to with the forum.

Last one... this has a bit of perspective, (I tried it in a number of varieties) the dot has been replaced with the earth image, seems to break up the words a bit.

Doesn't really matter to me as long as it doesn't add to the page load time. This site is really fast (one of the fastest I know) as it is. (though I know nothing of graphics and how they affect load times...).

I doubt there is a lot of bandwidth used up after the first initial load ~20K...
