Can I get standard channels with standard receiver but High Def Dish?

Hello,
I need to know if I can get standard channels through high def Dish (1000.2) but standard receiver (DP-721) using DPP44 switch?

The reason I am asking is because I have high def dish and standard receiver but I am not willing to pay $20.00 extra to Dish network for the high def channel at the moment but I am thinking ahead and I will get them eventually.

The 1000.2 is not, per se, a high definition dish. It can see satellite locations where HD programming comes from.

I have had 2 SD receivers hooked to the same DISH/switch combo as my HD receiver and they work fine.
