att/dishnetwork

I have dishnetwork thru att due to the apt complex i live at; they receive most but not all of the hd channels most noteable not on the list is cinemax hd, stars hd, national geographics hd, universial hd, a&e hd. those channels plus the superstation package. the reason the call center told me i do not receive them is spot beam on their sats do not cover the northern Indiana area. any one else live in an appartment complex and running into the same limitations as far as programming? Up untill recently they did not have 24 hour customer service.

I don't believe any of those channels are on spotbeam, all CONUS.

I live in South Bend, IN I am new to the sat tech I do not know what a "spotbeam" is but the installers had a hard time getting the dish pointed at all 3 sat's at the same time they finaly got it 5hrs later and I get all of the HD channels. Hope this helps...

do any of you live in an appartment complex using their dishes? This is a closed cable system from the highlands apt complex. the programming packages is contracted from att thru dishnetwork. the 622 receiver is not supported by att/dish service at this time. this is per their call center
