If Dish does not get the BTN I will be changing to Direct like many others. The question is, how long do I wait ? I am afraid Direct won't have enough equipment on hand if I wait until the last minute. I think many people do not understand, it is not about being a Big Ten fan, but being a fan of a certain school. There are 11 schools in the BT and each fan wants to see his team. Also I think many people are only thinking about FB and have not thought about BB. With the BT area covering huge population states Dish will lose many cutomers.

Lol, Im glad you mentioned "Big Ten", cause I didnt have a clue what "BTN" meant. I think direct and your local cable provider have always been the best choice for sports fans, havent they?

Actually, there is only 10 teams in the BIG10. Northwestern does not count unless you like mens golf or womens softball:D .
I am with you on getting this channel on DISH.. At least you get ESPN plus on a couple stations that will telecast the local games or other B10 games, but not in HD:( ..
Did you call Dish to find out there stance?
If they said they are currently looking into the matter, that means never.
If they said in the very near future, that probably also means never.
If they said yes they are and give anapproximate date, just add about a year onto that date.:banghead:

Hehe, if your talking football I would tend to agree with you for the most part. OSU, Michigan and Wisconsin have been the only 3 good teams over the past 10 years or so (PSU too). My "Sleeping Illini" had only 1 good year during this time and like the Blackhawks, there is no light at the end of the tunnel.:crying: So much for the indian names around here.
But basketball has shown a many good teams in the Big10 over the past 10 +. OSU, Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana to name a few. I still think it is still 1 of the best confrences top to bottom in both sports..Now if ND would only take Northwestern's place...
