I am currently shopping for some HD recievers for my new hdtvs. I am a current customer of Dish and have sd dvr. The only HD DVR I see on the dish site says it only supports 1 hdtv and then 1 sdtv. Is there any HD DVR that supports 2 hdtvs? Or am I just reading the description wrong. Thanks a lot!!!

No, only support of one HD and one sd. There is also no single tuner HD dvr at the moment. There is talk that the 211 will be able to do dvr once external hard drive is available.

The Dish ViP622 is capable of feeding an HD signal to two TV's simultaneously, but it is the same signal, not two different channels. If you need seperate programming, consider a 622 HDDVR and a 211 HD tuner. Or, wait 12 months to lease a second 622, or beg ceo@echostar.com to allow you to lease 2 622's, or buy the second 622 outright.
