2 Dishes For HD Programming?

I live in Mid Missouri 65203 to be exact and am wanting to get Dish HD package with the America 250 and my locals. 2 Dishes on my house or just 1 I hope? Thanks.

Im pretty sure youd just get a 1000.2. Some places need an extra 500 for 129/61.5, but it all depends. I have a 1000.2 plus a 500 for 129 because my SS was low. Im in South carolina though.

I am outside Baltimore MD and I have 2 dishes one for HD pointing one way and another pointing in the opposite direction for SD I assume, everything looks great!! No HD locals yet, but I can get them OTA even with a cheap indoor antenna if I hang it on the curtain rod.

1000.2 should work for you as long as you have line-of-sight to the satellites in the sky, especially 129.

KOMU channel 8, found on channel 36
KRCG channel 13, found on channel 12
KNLJ channel 25 , found on channel 20

available with an antenna and digital tuner (external) or built in to the TV.
