I had dishnetwork HD system installed in February. Since then, customer support has sent installers back to the house several times and I continue to have problems. I have a Dish 1000 on the roof and it is supposed to be getting 110, 118, 119, and 129. However, for several days now 129 is "in and out" and the signal has never been stronger than 40 to 50. I lose about all of it in rain events. I am going to call Dish CS again today to get help. Any suggestions? I'm in NC about 50 miles west of Charlotte. Have a VIP 622 with 2 TVs, a 322 with 2 TVs and a 301 with one TV in Shop and/or RV. Thanks for any suggestions/help/advice!!!

You may have to see if they can get you a single dish antenna for sat 61.5 or have you tried that solution already? However some Hd channels are however not on the 61.5 SAT.I live in Alabama and have to have the 129 sat for my regional Fox sports south and Sports south HD.61.5 sat doesnt have them on that satellite.

I agree, if theyve been peaking it and youre still having problems, Id put the 1000 on 110/118/119 and get a d300 ro 500 for 129.

I still hook up a 500 at campsites and have been doing this for many years with both DNW and Direct. However, the 1000 setup on the roof now and the box on the side of the house look imposing! How would I install a 300 and point it toward the 129 sat and hook it into the system? Also, this might mean redirecting the 1000 to max reception for the 110, 118 and 119? Any help? Thanks,

Use the Azimuth/Elevation calculator located at the previous link and you will know where to point for your location.
