issues with 129 on Dish

anyone else losing signal on 129 lately? Ive noticed it happening quite a bit or else i get audio and no picture..a hard reset of the 622 usually takes care of it but last night it was happening every 1/2 hr
i also noticed that signal strengh ont 129 is in the 50's & 60's when it used to be up near 100..119 is still in the 100 range

My 129 signal has degraded in the last two weeks. I now have problems whenever it rains. I called Dish and they "made a note of it" but would not schedule a visit by a tech.

Mine is just fine even during rain as long as its not to heavy.

What signal strengths are you reading on 129? Look at TP7 and TP11 for starters. Signal should be at least low 70's, any lower and you need to adjust the dish. It is not difficult, just remember to adjust only one parameter at a time and tighten the bolts for each parameter before moving to the next.

Have someone watch the signal meter (MENU-6-1-1) while you gently pull back on one side of the dish and push forward on the other. If rocking the dish side to side like this (give it a few seconds to react) shows signal improvement, it tells you which way to adjust the dish azimuth.

Try the same idea up and down, gently, don't bend anything to see if elevation needs adjusting.

TP 7 is at 70 and TP 11 is at 65. Is there a list to see which stations use which satelites and transponders? I am curious as to which stations are on 129/11.

Looks like 'World Cinema HD' 'Treasure HD' and 'World Sport HD' for xponder 11 at 129 deg.

The same as those carried at 61.5 deg. xponder 9 for those of us with 2 dishes.
