A Formal Apology To The Members And . . .

Lee Stewart
06-18-2007, 02:11 PM
I would like to take this time to make a formal apology to the members of HDF for:

1. Starting multiple threads on the same subject at the same time in different forums

2. Using sensationalistic thread title(s).

It was a mistake. I have made them in the past and I will probably make a few more in the future.

But I will NEVER again do either one of the above. It is a promise I am making to all of you and there will be no release from this. This is cast in concrete as far as I am concerned.

I am sorry my over zealousness took over. Again, this will not happen ever again no matter what the article is.

I have been accused of starting a lot of threads. And I do. No question of that. In many of the forums. I do this to try to get members to discuss issues and such - away from the format war.

Sometimes it works - sometimes it doesn't. That's what happens when you go hunting with a shotgun.

This is the High Def Forum . . .

But we have forums for Cars, Sports and Cell Phones and a new No Topic forum. So it is evident that Cass, the owner, wants people to be able to discuss a bunch of things - not just HD.

So until Cass tells me to "stop with the threads already" I will continue to start them. Don't like them - don't post - like them - join the discussion

Sincerely,

Lee Stewart

You can create as many threads as you like, and my remark was in context to what occurred. It was uncalled for, and I apologize for that.

Yeah Lee, don't let him not reading your posts bother you.

He has trouble reading anyone's posts, he's originally a "cracker" from Florida.

Just joking! ;)

Born at JFK in West Palm Beach in 1960. Left Florida in 1983, visit often, don't miss it, now.

Now I understand, who would miss the east coast of Florida.

Just joking, the west coast is where all the real beauty is, whiter sand, calmer waters, less traffic and way less transplanted New Yorkers (we get friendlier transplanted Ohio natives and Canadians).

I loved growing up on the east coast of Florida. better surf!!! You have to understand, Canadians, New Yorkers and Ohioans (?) have made Florida what it now is, and to me, an uninhabitable pit.

If Florida is an uninhabitable pit, then why still use that GAY dolphin avatar?

And what is wrong with Canadians and if they are soo bad why move so much closer to them like you did?

Things that make me go HMMM?

Superman- Eat me.
Unotis- I use the Dolphin avatar because it reminds me of home (the way it used to be) and I am and always will be a fan. YOU are the one saying Canadians are bad. I am suggesting that too many people, regardless of nationality, skin color or gender, are TOO MANY PEOPLE. What part of that makes you go hmmm?
BTW, Love going to BC, best beer in the world!
Oh, and....Superman, eat me.... Maryland is one of the biggest holes in the country.

I am an individual that truly is a novice at all this. I have found Lee to be very helpful and informative and in fact, just saved me $300 on a HDMI switcher I was about to buy. He was able to offer an alternative connection solution for my system. So Lee... keep doing what you are doing! If people don't like it/ don't read it.

Unotis- YOU are the one saying Canadians are bad.

Well I hate to say this but, you are wrong and I never posted that Canadians are bad, either you read someone else's post to that effect or you are incapable of reading a post correctly.

If you can give us a link (unaltered that is) showing where I said anything bad about Canadians, I'll apologize for it.

Seriously dude!!! You are inferring in this post that I said Canadians are bad people. I never said that- YOU posted this. If you are going to be dumb about this, we can end the conversation. REMEMBER- You are inferring that I said Canadians are bad, YOU are wrong. Perhaps your post is correct, you are confused and I'm done.

If Florida is an uninhabitable pit, then why still use that GAY dolphin avatar?

You said it man, not me and don't post that Canadians (along with the others) make Florida a uninhabitable pit and think we're going to take that you mean they are great.

You must be unable to debate because you always turn to insults or denial when you can't think of a smart retort.

Now I'm done with this stupid discussion.

You guys are all gay.

LMAO - who be the one wearing tights? Or is it jammies with the footies? Lose the X-ray superman - Lee started the thread with a good tone - Thank You Lee, me appreciates your candor. Your informative post's are also appreciated. Your post's have always been directed to the subject at hand and you have not allowed yourself to be subjugated to the juvenile verbose such as "supermans" gay reference.

To "Superman" - go kiss your biceps in another forum. When a HighDef forum member starts a post to acknowledge other members - take heed and be courteous. We do not need nor do we want discourteous remarks. If you have informative matter to share, it's welcome. If you wish to play the HD forum as a matter of fact blog - be gone.
