GNX231 06-17-2007, 08:32 PM so i think i don't need it then thanks elwaylite 06-17-2007, 08:38 PM As stated above, only if you need 118. The 300 can be pointed at 129. A 500 on 110/119 and a 300 on 61.5/129 gives you better SS than a 1000 pointed at 110/119/129. I have a 1000.2 pointed at 110/119 and a 500 for 129. GNX231 06-17-2007, 08:41 PM where is 129 located? elwaylite 06-17-2007, 08:48 PM I THINK its about 90 degrees to the right(if you are standing behind the dish) of 61.5. GNX231 06-17-2007, 08:53 PM great thanks i'll try that as soon as i find 61.5 i'm still having trouble finding 61.5 it keeps say 119 wrong sat. jim5506 06-17-2007, 09:21 PM Put your zipcode into the dish point screen and the receiver will tell you azimuth (compass direction), elevation, and skew for your dish 500. If you tell it you have a dish 300, it should tell you the same for 61.5. If you need help, give us your zip code and we can look your settings up in the manuals for the particular dish you are aiming. garys 06-18-2007, 05:27 AM great thanks i'll try that as soon as i find 61.5 i'm still having trouble finding 61.5 it keeps say 119 wrong sat. 61.5 is almost a right angle (almost 90 degrees) to the left of 119, 129 is about 9 degrees to the right of 119. What type dish are you trying to find 61.5 with? If you are using a dish 500 you have to set skew to 90. GNX231 06-18-2007, 07:36 AM i just noticed my 61.5 dish is a 500 but the skew is set at 90 my zip is 08527 thanks weberman 06-18-2007, 11:33 AM 129 does not cover entire CONUS and it looks like your area is excluded. garys 06-18-2007, 01:09 PM i just noticed my 61.5 dish is a 500 but the skew is set at 90 my zip is 08527 thanks Are you trying with only a single lnb (set on one side of the dish) on 61.5 or is it a larger twin covering both sides?
