Is this a DISH problem?

Not sure the problem here...can you help me out?
I'm brand new to all the HD stuff, etc...I recently got a Samsung dlp. I've got DISH. For 3 weeks, everything has been working perfectly 24/7 until today.
I got from Best Buy a "Terk" HDTV indoor antenna that I have inside. I have been receiving all my local channels thru DISH just fine...starting today, when I try to view the additional local channels (i.e. channel 8-2, 8-3, 8-4), it indicates the signal strength is 0 and their is no picture. For 3 weeks, the strength has been 80 or so. Now today, nothing. When I added the antenna 3 weeks ago, it picked up an additional 30-35 channels. Any ideas, suggestions, etc.?
I've searched and searched, but I'm not coming up with anything.
Thank you in advance from Fort Worth 76028.

I had the same problem last week. I knew it was not the off air signal because I also use the off air tuner on the tv as well. I just did a restart on the receiver hold down the power button on the receiver until it resets. After it came back up it was fine.

I probably have the same antenna as you and I live fairly close to you as well(Crowley). I have the most trouble receiving channel 8 and it's digital sub channels. I have played around with mine until I found the best overall signal for the majors; 4,5,8,11,and I include 13, 21,27, and 33 as well. The lowest signal I get is the high 70's to low 80's for 8.1,8.2, and 8.3. Like DJ said sometimes just resetting the box helps restore everything back to normal. It doesn't happen too often but it's nice to know it's easily corrected.

Unplug the antenna, rescan, plug back in and scan again. I've found my TV tuner to be much better than the 622 at picking up and holding local stations.

And I have found the opposite with about 30 622s.
