Forum Logo...

I like the HDF logo although have received complaints from time to time. Do you think it is time to have a new logo?

I don't think the logo reflects the subject of the forum visually very well at all. A site that discusses amazing picture and sound, and it has a logo using basic photoshop techniques-its very web 1.0.

It is definitely time to update the logo. I am finishing a project this week, but I might try to draft something up.

I'm sure there are a lot of designers and artsy people on this site, you should make an open logo submission.

I think the choices are a little too extreme here. A mild replace the logo from me, but it doesn't look like a kid made it.

If there is enough interest however, I am definitely open to having a contest of some sort for a new logo.....

Logo is OK, but doesn't convey the concept of HD very well...

I vote for a change.

Since the core of this site / forum is HD, perhaps something that looks more...tech sleek.

It seems difficult, but what would be cool is a logo that is able to graphically capture an HD-like quality...not 3D but some visual effect that speaks "high definition". I'll see if I can come up with an example to share.

A simple of 3D perspective of the words isn't enough and the standard HD Ready logo is old. Perhaps an Image cut into the words fading into a rainbow background... suggesting there is more res here than your display can handle?

Doing a fast look google HD icons brings old stuff.
