Samsung 3251D and OTA HD

Just a quick question and I really need your guys' help! I am planning on buying the 3251 by the end of today from Amazon.com for just under 1000, which seems like a great deal! Currently, I will not have access to my normal Comcast HD, so I am looking into the whole OTA scene. I reside in Boston, just outside the city so I'm assuming the signals will be strong. I am just wondering, how much does the typical, good quality, OTA antenna run in order to receive HD channels? And compared to a cable box ( I know dependent on signal strength, but..) will there be much of a difference on like FOX and ABC? Finally, I am in a dorm room/apartment setup so there is no "rooftop" option or running long cables. It must be an indoor antenna to get the HD, so does anybody have any good recommendations? But moreso I just want to ensure that I will be able to receive OTA HD on the 3251 before I buy using an antenna? Thanks

Reception will also depend on what is between the signal and your antenna (wood, brick walls, how many, etc). You should be able to get some stations (did they put you in the basement :eek: ). Many have bought at radio shack, checking return policy, until they got one that worked.

Radio Shacks in my area sell their best antenna for about 100.00. I added a 39.00 booster, as I am about 40 miles out - and it does great.
