Recommended 32 inch LCD HDTV

First what is the "best" 32 inch LCD HDTV? This leads to the next question, because "best" is sometimes subjective, but I'd like an objective answer.

I want to know if there is a resource out there that evaluates all of the currently available LCD HDTVs (specifically 32 inch) in a scientific manner, rather than some subjective recommendation. I've seen Cnet and other reviewers but they usually only look at one or two models, and many of the reviewed models on their web sites are over a year or two old, as are many of the buying guides which refer to issues that existed over 2 years ago with LCD technology.

So is there a single place where I can see all the latest LCDs lined up next to each other so that one can see which is "best"?

Well, sticking with the top brands is always good bet. Sharp, Sony, Samsung are all solid choices in the LCD market. Prices have dropped and they all can be had for under $1000 in most cases. Of course there are some other brands as well that are probably worth looking into. My brother is very happy with his Toshiba, as an example.

You can try www.cnet.com (http://www.cnet.com), they have a lot of reviews. Also try www.lcdtvbuyingguide.com (http://www.lcdtvbuyingguide.com). They have a lot of reviews as well.

Hope that gets you started....

I doubt there really is one supreme 32" lcd tv out there that puts the other one's to shame. Most name brand lcd tv's are made with the same parts and sometimes the same manufactures. They are just branded and sold with their name on it. The top name brands use the most current technology there is.
I've read some of the cheaper no-name brands have more pixel failure because of the quality of parts they use.
