I was wondering about how responsive the remote is, I got it 10 days ago with the add on and it seems that I always have to point it towards the 360 for it to work right. all the buttons work fine and all it's just the range of the thing I guess cause I usually sit on the complete opposite side of the 360. Has anyone had such problems with it? It could be that I had it shiipped from the US and it got a little bumped up during the shipment.:D

Here's your problem, the 360 controllers are wifi 2.4ghz but the Remote is infared. Basically it is the same as every other tv remote you've ever had. So yes, you have to point the remote directly at the 360 inorder for it to work.
The censor on the 360 is the 1 inch panel on the front, right below the Disk Drive. To me it would have made more sense to make the remote wifi as well but they didn't.

I use it with my ir repeater (360 is in the bedroom, main theater in the livingroom). It doesnt seem any more picky than any other IR remote. Though I prefer rf over ir, Im glad they did go with IR. Its easier to program a universal and leave the m$ remote as a backup.
Yeah I know it's IR even though it seems a little worse then normal remotes oh well I'll try the batteries maybe that's the problen
