horrible espnhd picture quality during games

all my hd channels look perfect except espn and espn2. the most recent nba game sixers vs bulls was crap!!! anyone else experience static throughtout the entire screen, and especially on red objects like the rim? basketball on tnt and worldsport is amazing. what is wrong with espn???

Can't say I've had the same experience. All of my HD channels come in great. I certainly prefer some over others in terms of PQ but ESPN and ESPN2 are typically some of the better ones. I personally don't think TNTHD has very good PQ.

I haven't had my HDTV calibrated but maybe that would help?

720p I believe, others that you think are great are probably 1080i.
