Last night I lost CBS HD West. On two occasions Dish customer reps assured me that this channel would not be affected by the Distant Networks legal ruling.
As my Dish 500 is now inert I called them today and was told that it would cost me $99 to remove the worthless piece of junk.
These people have really ticked me off.

Why pay $99 to remove a piece of junk when you can do yourself? Very easy job!
Why did you call those Morons DishNetwork customer reps when the Court already ruled to stop all distant networks on DishNetwork by Dic 1? Dish didn't lie you, you didn't believe it the Court.

Because, josum3, if you read my post they told me twice that CBS HD West was NOT a distant network...

DISH always lies - everything they say is untrue.
DISH 500's make beautiful birdbaths!
DISH always lies - everything they say is untrue.
Your best bet is to listen to what the customer reps tell you, then believe the exact opposite.

DISH always lies - everything they say is untrue.
But what if they said they lie?
But what if they said they lie?
Oh man, this is one of those brainteasers. If they said they lied, then that would mean that they would be telling the truth. But we know that DISH reps can't tell the truth, so that would mean they are actually lying. But then that would mean they're actually telling the truth.....
Bottom line: you're better off coming on here and ignoring DISH reps altogether :p :p :p
