Distant Networks Update

Hello Everyone,

As you may already know, you will no longer be able to receive Distant Networks programming through Dish Network. Starting tomorrow you will have a way to continue your service.

On December 1st you will be able to sign up for Distant Networks programming through National Programming Service (NPS (http://www.callnps.com/)). Starting tomorrow, you may go to MyDistantNetworks.com (https://mydistantnetworks.com/)to see if you qualify and to sign up.

Please note, the call center will not be able available to take orders today.

Unfortunately when I signed up for their service this morning (Dec. 1st) I am not eligible to get the DNC w/o a waiver from each of the networks. And since we know they are likely not in the mood to give it and even IF they were it will take 30-60 days during which time the DNC are not available, this move is apparently a complete waste of time. Any other helpful suggestions?:confused:
