Randomly Losing Reception on OTA Channels

I live west of Porland OR and can literally see the local TV antennas from my house. I have had a 921 DVR and a Silver Sensor antenna for 2 years with little or no problems, however in the last 6 months or so my local CBS station would just not come in at all at times. After a day or so it would come back.

Now for the first time NBC will not come in. CBS is coming in. I use to get a signal of "125" on NBC, CBS was usually lower. I have not changed anything else. Any ideas or is this happening to anyone else?

your indoor antenna will never be a reliable receptor, because UHF TV signal is reflected and bounced all around inside your home. Have you moved any furniture? Even the human body with it's high water content both absorbs and reflects UHF TV signals.

Get your antenna outside and away from such obstructions. A small inexpensive outdoor antenna should fix your problem (May even cost less than you paid for the Silver Sensor).

NBC magicly reappeared today with a signal strength of 107 or 112.
I did not do anything. Currently my antenna is in the attic. I guess I will wait and see what happens next. Thanks for the replies.
