How to write about 1080p and 720p correctly (must read)neos 11-26-2006, 04:40 PM In short, always reference the frame rate, like "1080p/24" or "720p/60". Read the details of this initiative here: http://gadget-minded.blogspot.com/2006/11/progressive-hd-framerate-initiative.html rbinck 11-26-2006, 05:06 PM I have been trying to conform to that unless it adds no additional meaning. For example discussing 1080i and 720p broadcast video. By default 1080i is 30 frames per second and 720p is 60 frames per second. All in all I think it is a good initiative and could lead to less confusion. neos 11-27-2006, 04:23 AM Please help me spread the word - post to your blog and/or pin this topic at the top of the forum. I have very low possibilities to actually promote this initiative, so this can be succesfully done only with help of other people. | |
