VIP622 Data Corruption

Whenever I record a program using the OTA HD through the VIP622 I get a message Data Corruption. Most the time It recovers the program but this time I recorded for 2 hours and got 1 hour recovered.

The first time I recorded programs the menu showed the programs as Digital Service. Then when I went to play them later I got the corruption message.

I set the timer manually as the programs are not displayed in the guide. One other thing. I can only receive one program on the 622 when I am recording an OTA program. I have the 622 set in Single mode and can only set up Tuner 1.

Any thoughts?

The last software update evidently introduced some innocuous "bugs" into the menu system for OTA recorded programs.

1. When the 622 does its nightly cleanup it marks ALL OTA recordings as recovered and says they were corrupted (because you did not have dish locals). - this is not correct.

2. If you try to rename one of these OTA recordings, it shows up on the immediate header but does not transfer to the recorded programs listing.

3. The 622 menu says all the "RECOVERED" programs are 1 hour in length but that is incorrect. The original program length is usually still there, the listing is just wrong.

With the 622 in single mode, you use the swap button to switch to the other tuner.
