Cincinnati locals - NOT in HD

I'm a little confused by this whole no local HD channels with Dish Network. Time Warner Cable offers them, DIRECT satelite offers them, but not DISH. I called again this morning to tech support and no one can tell me why.

Is this a physical issue (not enough space on the satelite in the sky, not enough satelites in the sky), OR is it POLITICAL for who knows what reason. It seems odd to me that two of the big three providers can get local HD programming but not the third provider.(DISH) I've only been on board with DN for 1 month today! Can someone please explain the WHY to me? I've ordered an OTA antenna to try to pick them up but the local installer told me that it is still a very difficult thing to do based on my geography. (Distance & in a valley) I guess I should have went with Direct instead.

Dish more than likely is in negotians with the local affiliates (Cincy)for hd signals.I live in the Dayton area and get my locals with an ota.I can get all my locals hd and 3 Cincy stations 5.1,5.2,64.1.Go to this site and check your distance from the towers.
