OP - sell it, dude. Make a few bucks and buy another one in a few months. I would do it while they're still suckers out there willing to fork over big bucks for them.

It seems that Resistance and RR7 are the only titles that would interest me. If you really don't feel the PS3 vibe, why not just sell it and buy more games for the X360? I believe that the price is going to drop very quickly on the PS3's, because of it's high price point. By the time the 2nd revision PS3's hit the market, there will be some good games.

Yea the hell with selling it,you will be one of thousands trying to profit on the product,just keep it. In time there will come games that will interest you if there isnt already. Plus regardless of your feelings for the PS3,it will still add some cool factor to your theater its yours,you have one,thats it,you are now set with both consoles until the next-next-gen,until I would just keep it.

shocked they didnt review RR7 since it also was a "same day launch title"... its a no brainer though!! Resistance is certainly the best title for the system.. thats what i picked up. im not interested in any titles except Carbon, COD3 and sonic from now till Dec 31 and those titles i only want to rent/demo. im more interested in Stranglehold and im buying Motorstorm, heavely sword and assassins creed without a doubt all by April :)

Look, if someone who is obviously filthy rich wants to buy a PS3 for that huge amount of money instead of waiting in line, then so be it. It's his choice.

Because the current Ebay winning bid for the 60gb model is AVERAGING about $1200.00...and falling.

Those ridiculous auctions are either:

a. the seller's friends jacking up the price, hoping a schmuck will come along in the last few seconds and bid

or

b. people with fake accounts jacking the price to enormous amounts so no one will bid because they are pissed at the scalpers.

That's just my opinion.

I highly doubt that. I'm not saying it's true, but it "could" happen. Just like anything on ebay. Do you remember that guy last year who bought a "picture" of an xbox 360 for $1,000? Stupid stuff like that happens all the time on ebay.
