Dish setup questions

im planning on switching to Dish from comcast.
Im going to get the platinum hd package with local channels and hd dvr vip622. i have 3 tvs - 1hd, 2sd. of course the dvr will go with the hdtv. 1 sdtv is rarely used, the other is used every other weekend by my 12yo for watching mostly cartoons and vid games.

1. is there an hdmi output on the 622?
2. im confused on how many receivers i need. how do i set up so I have dual channel capabilty on the hdtv (watch 1 channel while recording another or record 2 shows at same time) and also get signal to both sdtvs.
3. is it possible, like comcast, to record 2 shows and watch a recorded program simultaneously?
4. looks like i gotta pay $200 for the 622. $80 a month for 10months and then $108 a month for the rest of my life. Does that seem about right for pricing
5. Are the ethernet and usb ports active on the 622?
6. Im assuming that the equipement is mine to keep, does Dish offer extended warranties if the recievers crap out?
7. do i need an hd antenna to get my local channels or is that part of the package
8. anything else i should be concerned about?

Thanks for any info

1. Yes
2. 2 recievers. The vip will support 2 (1 HD and 1 SD) and then you can get a basic SD reciever for the 3rd SD TV.
3.Yes, the 622 has 2 tuners and can record on both simo and watch recorded shows.
4. Not sure on the current deals other than this:

5. The USB is active but is only used for Pocket Dish at this time to my knowledge.
6. You can buy the 622 or pay Dish a 1 time $199 rental fee. Dish retains the rite of the 622 if you pay the $199, but replaces it if it dies (unless you spill beer in it). I think they charge $500 for you to own it out rite. Not sure on the current deals.
7-8.You can get your locals in HD via a local HD Dish package ($5.99)if avliable in you area. If not Dish will provide a OTA antenna and set it up if you are close enough to recieve them. Call Dish or look on the web. The OTA connection on the 622 is active. I get the Chicago Local and HD local pachage. Here is the web link. Plug in your address.
