1 or 2 Dishes

I've read some threads where the author mentioned having 2 dishes installed. On a recent install of HD programming at my home (new customer), the technician installed one dish for the VIP 211 receiver.
When are two dishes required? I just got the basic BRONZE package for the time being. Probably will upgrade to the gold sometime in spring. Any viewers out there from the Mile High Plus city of Colorado Springs?

A competent install tech (there are some) will know what works best in your particular location. For most the Dish 1000 works fine (3 in 1). For others, having a separate Dish for 61.5 is better.
