? on 211 receivers

I am thinking of upgrading from the 811 to the 211. Does the 211 have better PQ? Also is the 211 any stonger in picking up off air signals? One final question, is SD any better with the 211? Thanks for any help.

The 211 has mpeg4 capability so you can get all the new HD stuff. The 211 is $49 and the 622(DVR) is $199. Get the DVR, you will be happier.

My 622 picks up more OTA signals than my HDTV.

I found that the 211 was much better at picking up OTAs than the 811. For that alone, I was happy I switched. Getting all of the other HD channels was also a big plus.
