Fox Sports in HD

Any know if Fox Sports West is availble in HD from Dish Network? I have heard they broadcast basketball games in HD but Dish does not have FSHD in their channel Lineup. Thanks for the replies

Currently DISH is not broadcasting any on the RSN's in HD. I have heard they are coming "soon" but that has already been 2 or 3 months ago and still nothing. According to DISH channel chart FSN West (ch. 367) would be one of the HD RSN's once they become available.

Everytime a Sharks game is on, I check channel 369, which is where FSN Bay Area is going to live. They need to hurry it up! :D

I really wish they would hurry this up. I called Dish last week about it, and all they would tell me is, "We are working on getting them, but have no information on when that will be." Every time FSN has had OU football on this year it has been in HD, and this weekend is no different. But, I am stuck watching it in SD. The sad thing is both Directv and Cox (local cable) both have FSN-HD in OKC, but I am with Dish.

latest news I heard is that the HD RSN's would probably be available the first quarter of 2007 which could be as late as March which means there would be about a week or so left of the NHL regular season..........way to go DISH !!!!

I also heard Dish usually has rate hikes in February. So this could be the scenario.

I'm sure you are correct. I'm in So Cal too, so I want both FSW and Prime (FSW2) in HD!!

When the NHL season first started, and Dish gave a free preview of NHL Center Ice, they showed several of the NHL games in HD, & I noticed that they were nothing more than the regional sports networks HD broadcasts. Saw a Wild game from FSN in HD & it looked AWESOME! NHL games on HD.net are OKay, but it isn't the same without Bob Miller & Jim Fox broadcasting! Even with the Kings playing sub-par hockey, it's more fun to watch than a game on HD.net with their generally boring anouncers~

Next year, if they will guarantee a certain # of NHL games in HD, I will consider getting the Center Ice package.

For the life of me, I can't figure out how it could POSSIBLY take so long for a major market like LA to get it's sh-tuff together! The only reason (or at least the most likely in my mind) is that they are perfecting ways to make money from it... :rolleyes:
