OTA HD problem (CBS)

I live in Cleveland and now I can't receive CBS HD. I have a big Radio Shack ant w/ rotor plus amp not in use now. I use to pick up CDS HD, but now the signal is not strong enough. Any ideas, I have tried to move rotor but not picking up strong enough signal. I have a Sony 34xbr960 and receive other channels very strong. Any suggestions on a new bigger ant or better brand. Maybe I will install all new cable amp rotor etc. Any installers locally recommended

Have you actually removed the amplifer or simply unplugged the power supply?

Ok I had to hook the amp back up and now everything is good. What is w/ pbs hd in cleveland can't find that signal.

Sounds like you learned that when you remove the power supply from a pre-amp it becomes a rock.
