Has anyone had this problem with D*? I received a letter in the mail from D* stating they were changing my local channels from Washington, DC to Baltimore. I was pissed to say the least, but it happened. I called, and was told my locals would be changed back to DC. Well, it never happened, so last night I spent 2 1/2 hours, 4 disconnects, 5 customer service people until someone knew what they were doing. I can't wait for Verizon to show up.

Time to put up an antenna, Laurel should not be a problem for OTA. Or you can wait for D* to provide significantly viewed service, they should get have that working in about 15 - 20 years. Or check out local cable, I'll bet they provide both Washington and Baltimore.

I am sure that DirecTV is just following guidlines that the FCC puts up. I dont think they want to spend resources to make your life miserable. If you have one of the HD tuners that DirecTV has put up an antenna as one of the other posters mentioned. You will get better PQ and nobody can disconnect your OTA without removing everybody.
