New to the HD era. I just bought a Toshiba 30hf84 crt. A digital tuner will be installed this weekend, and I have an analog cable box that I would like to connect also. I also want to get a new DVD/VCR combo.
Can anyone recommend a good DVD/VCR combo and what type of cables to which connections should I use to hook up each of the devices and how? I realize that is a lot of questions but that shows how little I truly know.
thanks in advance

For your HD receiver, you should try to get an HDMI connection if your HD receiver has an HDMI output on it. If not, you should get an DVI/HDMI cable. You can find them cheap at this website.

For your DVD/VHS combo, you're best connection will probably be component, which consists of red/blue/green cables. This can be find for slightly under $10 at Wal-Mart, or you can buy from the above store.
