Switching from Square Shooter to CM 4228

I'm switching my HD antennas from the Square Shooter to the CM 4228, as I am having difficult picking up NBC out of San Francisco.

Will I need to buy a mast for the CM 4228 or will the existing mast from the Square Shooter work? It is a thicker pole and does not extend very high above the roof line. My line of site does not appear to be obstructed.

The maximum sized mast that can be used with the hardware on a 4228 is 1 1/4": I think that you'll find that you may have a problem with thicker mast used with the Squareshooter.
