I bought a 27" Toshiba Flatscreen LCD TV and got the 622 HDDVR from dish and was having trouble with the picture looking goofy on all the standard digital channels. It Looked like a Computer screen with poor resolution. Very foggy looking backgrounds, and on black colored objects. Finally after i spent weeks looking and asking others who have HD TVs i was referred to a web site to purchase a cable called a DVI Monster cable. If any one else is having this problem Let me help you before you get frustrated. Go here: http://www.istopshop.com/default.asp?S=500&CategoryID=1&PageNo=4 and you will find a wide selection of cables that will fix this an fit any system.

go to monoprice.com and save yourself some cash. I am sure you can get what you are looking for there at a fraction of the cost of a Monster cable.

ScottMonster is not the only outfit that makes HDMI to DVI cables. You can get them off ebay for ~$10. Monster wants like $85 for those cables. Take out advice, save your money and dont buy Monster. Tell me you did not spend $225 for the M1000DV cable. That is a ludicrous price.

It took weeks for someone to refer you to that website?
Even your owner's manual would have given you a clue all you need is a DVI cable.
But I like the drama.. almost like reality TV :D

LMAO Daleb...

Yes, maybe we could start a new reality show.....instead of
"Wife Swap"...we could have "Cable Swap" where two strangers swap cables for one week!

"They must watch the other person's programming for one week..."

a 6 foot HDMI to DVI cable is 14.78 plus a few bucks for shipping at monoprice.com. Therefore Monster wants more than $200 more for their cable.

You can get the same cable off ebay new for ~$10 shipped. Save your money. Monster has got to be smoking some crack by asking that kind of jack for wire.
