Called last night to see what was wrong the the hd feed for KARE 11 in minneapolis. It has been screwed up for the last week.
He said it was coming from the station that way.
I made the comment that there probably was not enough people with HD yet to call in and complain.
His comment was we have over a million hd receivers and 622's out and the minneapolis area was one of their heavy hd areas right now.
That is a very good success ratio, start selling hd in mid march and by may 16 have over a million units out there.
The mfg must be working overtime to produce units for the demand.

I am assuming that he means over 1 million HD receiver in the US not Minneapolis alone!!!!! I can believe over 1 million in the US.

Hey Dude2 Im sorry but I have not seen any prob here? Do you mean the local news feed or the NBC feed? If you mean the bars on the side that is just filler for people with HD sets for a SD signal.. Check the KARE11 web site for HD listings....
I hope this helps?????

On normal HD with the 622 set in the normal expand mode, HD will fill the screen with all hd channels but kare 11. I have to use the stretch mode to fill the screen on hd and on sd I can only fill the screen to the blue bars.
All the other channels from either the twin cities or else will fill the screen with one push from normal to the stretch mode.
Yes 1 million receivers is nationwide, but he meant that minneapolis area is one of there most populated for dish customers.
Must have really bad cable there.
