Check this out,
I had 622/1000 installed three weeks ago.....lately, the 129 channels have not been able to lock at all- hence I can't watch them....
Tech is supposed to come out today..I went next door to borrow a neighbors ladder (very tall) so I could have a look before he comes
My neighbor climbed up there and said...."look"...the ..I don't know what you call this part, but the part that looks at the dish...the rectangle thing, maybe you call it the transponder?? well...it is very bendable...., my neighbor's dish (500) has that thing locked up tight, but mine can bend up and down....
So after he played with it...I now get all my channels with the 129 sat channels around 60 signal strength and 110 - 119 anywhere from 80 to 122!!
My question is, should that transponder part be screwed down somehow?? I see two screw holes, and they are empty...it looks like the transponder slides onto it, but it isn't all the way down either....
If anyone out there is knowledgeable - please post your response!
Thanks,
cm
