DVR Help

I just got dish and a HD tuner (ViP 211) a few days back but I didn't think about getting a dvr. Now I called back and they wanna charge $299 lease plus $5 a month. Is there a good DVR I can buy to use with the current tuner? The soccer World Cup is coming up and I would like to record some of the games in HD. Or is there a hd capture card for the computer since I have lots of hard drive space? I'm new to all this and I'm not sure how it all supposed to work. Any help would be appreciated. :)

You can buy a 942 on ebay for around that. I also had the 211 and decided to get the 622. It is worth the $299 they charge. As far as teh PC thing, you will spend more than $299 to get that working. You would need an HD capture card and they are at least $250. Now if you just want an SD DVR, they are out there. There are very few HD DVRs out there. Sony made one, but is only cable card or OTA. Does not accept HD inputs.
